Join Asante Samuels for the launch of The Bring it Home Single Moms Foundation, a non-profit organization that benefits single moms in need of homes. Lots of NFL'ers and other celebs will be at Club Play, including Miami Dolphins Kendall Langford, Brandon Marshall and Benny Sapp; Baltimore Raven’s Dante Stallworth; Tennessee Titan’s Stephen Tulloch; Miss GEICO; and socialite/philanthropist Alexia Eschevarria, to support the Philadelphia Eagles cornerback at the launch event, presented by five-time champion Miss GEICO World Championship Race Team. The organization’s vision is to provide low income single mothers with homes to restore their pride, optimism and stability. The homes will be both energy and cost efficient, meeting the Green Standard, and will also fit with the Moms' budget constraints. Soooo we at Falldeuces had a such a great time at the Dinner Gala last night at Club Play...

The food was exactly what we expected.... GREAT!
Chef Antaun did a great job and prepared a delicious spin on many of our favorite dishes! Rack of Lamb, Curried Chicken and Crab Cakes to name a few.

The decor was simple yet classy with a touch of red elegance.

You could feel the atmosphere of true friendship between the Charity Golfers on the green and off.

Weston Hills Country Club hosted a classy event with such great spirits.

We got a chance to speak with Mr. and Mrs Stephenson and both had humble demeanor's.

Mrs. Stephenson was the first person we spoke with and she was a delight.

On March 28, Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter Kelly Rowland debuted her recent non-profit organization at the ONE Bal Harbour Resort & Spa in Miami Beach. The lavish and luxurious celebration attracted several of Mrs. Rowland's friends, Serena Williams, Tina Knowles, Jay Sean, New York Giant Kareem McKenzie, as well as T.V. personality LaLa Vasquez were all in attendance. This stylish soiree commemorated the "I Heart My Girlfriends," an interactive support system for girls and women of all ages.

Guests partied on the View Bar Terrace, enjoying delicious bites courtesy of ONE and throat soothing cocktails by Grey Goose Vodka. This will be Kelly Rowland's first charity, an organization aimed at empowering girls and women through an assortment of educational and outreach programs. The exclusive event took place from 6 to 9pm and guests were treated to a first-class celebration.

ONE DAY OUT OF THE BLUE, SOME THUGS(SOLDIERS) CAME TO MY HOUSE WITH GUNS...THEY TOLD ME THAT I HAD TO DO WHAT THEY SAID IF I DIDN'T OBEY THEY WOULD HURT ME AND MY FAMILY..I ASKED THEM WHY ARE THEY DOING THIS AND THEY SAID THEY ARE HERE TO 'GIVE ME FREEDOM'. SO I WENT AND GOT MY GUN AND BEGAN SHOOTING AT THESE THUGS(SOLDIERS) TELLING THEM TO GET OUT AND IF YOU'RE COMING INTO MY HOME WITH GUNS IS FREEING ME THEN THIS IS CRAZY!!! AFTER INTENSE GUN FIRE ONE OF THE THUGS(SOLDIERS) BULLETS KILLED MY TWO YEAR OLD SON!!

SO ASK YOURSELF A QUESTION......WHO'S FAULT IS IT THAT MY CHILD IS DEAD???

Officers in Bell case found Not Guilty!!!!!!!

Another Day, another injustice for a black man!
I hear that it is hard for a black man in America!

Now, these police officers are in a strip club undercover.... For what reason? While Sean Bell, and friends are out celebrating at his bachelor party. The cops got a tip that there were some guys in the area with a gun. So they assumed that it was Sean Bell and his friends. After Sean Bell and company left the club, the unidentified police officers followed them out and began to exchange words without identifying themselves as cops. It turned into an argument and escalated into Sean Bell trying to drive away in his car. They say he was trying to run over the unidentified cop, and what’s wrong with that? If a person is following you and arguing with you; wouldn't you try to just "walk away"? Now.... The cop still doesn't identify himself. The cops all of a sudden feels like their life is in danger and shoots up Sean Bell's car 50 times. And that is how they identified themselves...... After reloading a couple of times, and taking this man’s life! Shouldn't he have Identified himself at least once, or any of the other cops for that matter? That is unadulterated FUCKERY! And now the cops were found NOT GUILTY. It always seems like the downfall of a black man and his family is always justice being served. That have never happens to a white men. Its always another Black Man lost to violence due to the color of his skin. I see why a lot of black men ride to that "Souljah Life Mentality".

Snipes' lawyers had spent much of the day in court offering dozens of letters from family members, friends even fellow actors Woody Harrelson and Denzel Washington attesting to the good character of the "Blade" star and asking for leniency. They argued he should get only probation because his three convictions were all misdemeanors and the actor had no previous criminal record.

But U.S. District Judge William Terrell Hodges said Snipes exhibited a "history of contempt over a period of time" for U.S. tax laws, and granted prosecutors the three year sentence they requested one year for each of Snipes' convictions of willfully failing to file a tax return.

Snipes apologized while reading from a written statement for his "costly mistakes," but never mentioned the word taxes.

She has been linked to a young man named Kendrick Williams that was driving a black Acura Integra that picked her up earlier on the evening of her disappearance. They went to a nightclub called "peppers" in Sunrise, Florida and he claimed that he was ready to go and that she stayed behind. But DNA says differently. The Times Union of Albany cited unnamed sources in a Sunday report that R&B music star Mary J. Blige, rap musicians 50 Cent, Timbaland and Wyclef Jean, and award-winning author and producer Tyler Perry may have received or used performance-enhancing drugs.

Albany District Attorney P. David Soares launched an investigation into steroid trafficking last year. Law enforcement officials have said evidence does not indicate that the celebrities broke the law. Officials are focusing on the doctors, pharmacists and clinics that provide the drugs.

Ken Sunshine, a spokesman for Tyler Perry, declined comment. Calls to representatives for the musicians were not immediately returned Sunday.

Soares has declined to comment on or confirm the identities of the stars mentioned in the report. His multistate investigation has focused on Signature Pharmacy of Orlando, Fla. Deborah Swindells Donovan, a lawyer for Lotus, called the lawsuit frivolous in papers filed Friday in U.S. District Court.

She wrote that if his "ill-conceived theory is applied to restaurants, then 'early bird' specials for the elderly or promotions allowing children to eat free would be discriminatory on the basis of age."

A black teenager may get out of a juvenile facility in about eight months after a deal was struck Monday with prosecutors in the beating of a white classmate that sparked a major civil rights demonstration amid cries that his treatment was unduly harsh.

Mychal Bell, now 17, originally was charged as an adult with attempted murder in the beating of Justin Barker in December 2006. That charge was reduced before a jury convicted him in June of aggravated second-degree battery. In September, that verdict was thrown out by an appeals court that said Bell should be tried as a juvenile.

They have said an adult neighbor fabricated a teenage boy online who pretended to be interested in Megan before he began bullying her. The mother is quoted in a police report as saying that she and an 18-year-old employee created the boy's account.

County Prosecutor Jack Banas, announcing his decision at a news conference, said no charges could be applied under current law.

Banas said the fake MySpace page was not created by the mother of one of Megan's friends, as has been reported. He said the page was created by an 18-year-old employee of that mother, though the mother knew about the page.(abcnews.com)

Memphis Police have charged three men who they say went to a McDonald's restaurant on South Mendenhall and Winchester, dressed as women, and started a fight with employees.

Danny Mitchell and Lynn Gillespie are charged with aggravated assault. A third man, Dacorian Greer is charged with vandalism over $500.

A restaurant employee says he was working in the drive-thru window and there was an argument there. He says when he ignored them men tapping on the window, they came inside and started a fight.

One of the men is accused of hitting the manager in the head with a tire iron. Police say the manager swung back, and the men kicked off their stiletto boots, pulled off earrings and jackets in preparation for a fight.

The manager was taken to the hospital after being hit with a "wet floor" sign. Another employee was treated for scratches.

Investigators say before the men drove off, they smashed the drive-thru window.

NFL star Sean Taylor died after being shot by an intruder in his Miami home on Monday. Although doctors felt a hint of hope when he squeezed a nurses hand, he died on Tuesday.

I know you saw this story on every news channel. This loss of a young life is a tragedy. But I would love to know who did it?? This isn't a routine robbery; why would some thugs brake into a football players home and not take anything...Or did they? Better yet, who comes into someones home and just kills one person...What about the witnesses?

The women in the photo Milana Dravnel an exotic dancer claims she met De La Hoya at the gentlemens club; Scores on the West side in Manhattan. She was his mistress from January 2006 till this past May. Dravnel claims that the photos were taken in the Ritz Carlton hotel room in Philadelphia.

When police arrived, Coppin had jumped out of a ground-floor window with something in his hand and was shot by officers on the street. Shot some 20 times, Coppin was handcuffed on the ground before being taken to a hospital where he died a short time later, television channel New York One reported. When the shooting stopped, police found that instead of a gun, Coppin was only holding a hairbrush. According to the L.A. Times, a proposal is being reviewed by the U.S. Sentencing Commission that would shave an average of at least two years of the sentence of 19,500 federal prisoners. More than 2,500 of them who have already served long sentences would be eligible for release if the rule is implemented within a year of the ruling. The reason for this is the unfair laws that are placed on crack cocaine dealers and users, versus powder cocaine cases. Get this.. 80% of those sentenced on federal crack cocaine charges every year are African Americans...The reason for the tough crack laws are due the crime that it causes and its highly addictive nature.

Really this story made me think...Why?? Would you the government 'throw away the key' on the crack dealers? Is it just an easy way to deal with the problems in the streets? The government thinks that this is the best way to deal with the problems in the inner city. I have an idea put better education in the inner city and more opportunities so that people don't turn to drug abuse and selling drugs. All they need is more options.

If some people had more to chose from they wouldn't always choose the bad....We need more good.

A recent news story made me wonder. ‘Kelsey Peterson, 25, and Rodriguez were taken into custody without incident after the boy's relatives told police he had called home asking for money, leading investigators to a shopping mall in the border city of Mexicali on Friday. Well, let’s begin with asking ourselves, WHY!!!!!!!. Ok, now that I gotten that out, we can continue. This story in particular is terrible because she is a 25 year old woman. I think that she could have found a man anywhere, and if all else fails she could always meet someone on myspace…:) There have been many cases of women sex offenders. We have to look into this as a big problem when young teenage boys have a sexual and emotional relationships with adult women, this is wrong. Although society may say ‘boys will be boys’, we need to let them really be boys and not pressure them into becomeing men to quickly. These women cause these boys to engage in adult relationships. The women like the young and innocent love that young boy may be offering and the young boy likes the manly feelings and attention the women give to him. This is not cool……Really….. Police say 1-year-old Triniti, 4-year-old Shawn died a painful death when left trapped in soaring temperatures in mom’s car. Accident? Hold on! After mom makes a solo run to Arby`s for her own dinner, police find the children in garbage bags, dead under the kitchen sink. Hope you enjoyed that roast beef sandwich, Mom, because it’s jail food tonight!

June 28: A 30-year-old father leaves his 3-month-old daughter, Amberlee, in a hot car outside the family home in Chandler for nearly two hours. The father had taken the baby with him to run errands and once home forgot about her. She dies.

This is really getting ridiculous. The Tip Harris incident is not sitting right with me. Tip Harris (T.I.) was arrested for wanting to purchase guns, that act would violate his parole. Well, this is too much of a coincidence for me. Ok, let’s begin with why was his newly hired bodyguard acting as an informant? Why would you record conversations with your boss if you were not trying to set him up? So then I ask the question, why would the police be sending in undercover police or civilians that want to work with the police to bother T.I.....I say bother because he was asking the bodyguard to buy the guns to protect him, what’s the harm in that? Yes I will be honest, a machine gun is a bit much but his bodyguard has the right to bear arms to protect T.I. I have a theory, follow me closely.

T.I. is making major moves in movies, music........., and even on a humanitarian level so the people became jealous. Those people are the police, they are mad that these rappers have millions of dollars and some of them are stuck with making $30,000-$40,000 a year. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying that his music is the most positive but that is not on trial. What I can say is Tip, you’re not living that ‘hood’ life anymore so you may have needed an AK-47 when you were doing the ‘dope boy’ thing but your lifestyle doesn’t match that anymore. You don’t see Bloomberg ordering a ‘Chopper’ do you? To all rappers, this American society we live in is backwards so please try to remember that when you turn the key to your million dollar house, you’re still a target. Money can only do so much, but you can’t erase your skin color…

What do you think about the models now a days? Do you feel like there is something wrong with the models they choose? I Do!!!!!!!!! They first of all have to be skinny as hell! Unhealthy and skinny!!!!!...... and the shit is ugly! Who finds beauty in under aged teens that deprive themselves of food and don't even make enough money to catch a cab from the west side NYC to uptown? I went to a fashion show in the city this past week and witnessed that a lot of these models are struggling................ So whats the point of them putting their health at risk and not getting a damn thing out of it. I understand the GRIND!!!! But lets be real.... Not even a quarter of these girls are gonna get to the top. Is the modeling industry giving these girls a false sense of hope? On many of these modeling agencies the girls are seriously underweight, and they know only about 5 out of 200-300 will make it big! So why do they do that knowing that these young ladies are putting their health at risk? That is Bull s%$#!!!!!!!!! What you don't know is that these girls give so much and get very little( in jobs and money). Nothing is promised in the modeling industry and their young years fly by so fast. The chosen few make it SUPER!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the rest of the girls find something else to do. “CALLS JESUS BIASED”

Since when has God only answered the prayers of certain people (the white Christians in Jena)? Reed Walters stated that because of Jesus, the March that took place in Jena, Louisiana last Thursday, was peaceful. Jesus answers prayers of everyone. Why does it have to be that blacks need an extra prayer to be civil and peaceful? How racist can a person be? Come on……..……..in that case black people in my observation must have a deep prayer of the Lord over them to not tie whites to the back of their pick-up trucks and drag them down the street, or not to form a black terrorist group like the KKK to terrorize whites? What’s your opinion? Why can’t Mr. Racist Reed realize that the marchers for Jena 6 did not want to riot, but March peacefully for justice and equality and a peaceful protest? Does he think that over 20,000 protesters had to come together to make a “NO VIOLENCE VOW”? Why did he have to find idiotic reasoning to paint the picture of blacks being unruly? Are they really? Or does Reed Walters want to start a revolution that will result in a riot to try to enslave blacks again? What do you think? Racism is a touchy subject………. and not from a white or black persons perspective this I will state ‘The comment that was made by Reed Walters was indeed Racist’. Why do blacks need kudos to act as their natural self? Why is Bill Oreilly surprised that black people don’t speak to each other using the term Mother!@#$%^ or that there are black families that live more civil than he does? Are these whites intimidated by black people? They are said to be the stronger race…………….MMMMM….is someone (“hating on a brotha”)? A racial issue; Some whites want to make excuses of why black people are civilized when in fact they need to stop being racist and accept the fact that all people are equal and that we all are products of our environments whether you are white trash, black trash, Asian trash etc…………. MYSPACE DATING

What?????? Give me a break!! Do people really do that?????.........Yeah… they do, and truthfully it’s a lot more dangerous than you think. Dating and the internet allow people to mold their lives to what they want it to be, not necessarily what it really is. A quite bookworm can be a wild porn star through the internet! Here’s the scenario, follow me….. The quite librarian who has self esteem issues and has been through a couple of bad relationships can build herself an online dating profile that will display to the world who she wishes to be. Miss Librarian by day, and Mizz Hot Tamale on her MySpace profile. This seems harmless, what’s so wrong with playing the role and not being yourself…I’ll tell you……It can cause a big problem, what happens when that librarian begins dating a young man from the internet. Let’s call him Mr. NiceGuy01. When Mizz Hot Tamale and Mr. NuceGuy01 go out on dates they may feel like they have to continue to be the same person from the net. Now that they have been dating for 6 months, I guess they decide to step it up a notch…..… Time to move in together! Don’t get me wrong Mizz Tamale did mention that she was a librarian, but she left out all the stuff that she thought Mr. NiceGuy wouldn’t like. Why would she do that? What’s going to happen when he finds out who she really is; and what’s so wrong with being Ann? Well, this story gets juicy; right here……Now it here goes…After they move in Mr. NiceGuy01 starts to slowly discover that Miss Hot Tamale is really Ann. No more internet to hide behind, she has no choice but to be herself; and like I said before what’s so wrong with being Ann?
Now that they have already moved in with each other Mizz Hot Tamale realizes that she isn’t the only one with another personality. Mr.NiceGuy01 isn’t as sweet and manly as he said. Those cool MySpace layouts of a rose are the closes he gets to being romantic…And he is an emotional wreck. Now I guess they both have some explaining to do. Why is this such a big deal? Well, it’s a big deal because we have hundreds of millions of people living their life through their computer and are neglecting the good old rule of thumb; be yourself. Now what do think is going to happen when Mr.NiceGuy01 and Mizz Hot Tamale meets the real person inside of each other? What will happen when there is no computer in the bedroom, it’s just real people… I think that the new internet craze will allow people to go into their own private closets and dance with the skeletons. Your own private closet; just you and your computer….

Give me a break! This ridiculous, I saw an article that almost made me grab a grenade! But I had to calm down to write this. Some cities that are trying to crack down on saggy jeans by handing out fines for up to $500 and up to six months jail time. Why would anyone want to lock up people for wearing saggy jeans? What will it profit the good old government to lock people up for ‘saggy’ pants? This will not change anyone’s wardrobe; it will just make people more upset and willing to rebel. No matter how much the government wants to make this look like the right thing to do, there is no point! They aren’t harming anyone. This rule isn’t for everyone, really it’s just a way to stereotype a generation of what they like to call “thugs”. This is a class and a color issue. And where do they think that these people who wear “saggy” jeans will get $500 from? The study did say that ‘saggy’ pants is a sign of not having a job…..Until then, to those that this doesn’t affect stay employed and out of jail and to others…………… don’t get caught with your pants up…..

P.S. On a side note spell saggiN backwards and tell me if this is a coincidence or mere fate. I also feel that this rule has an underlining meaning to it. About 70% of young Black males where saggy jeans.

Is it time for the soldiers to come home?

President Bush is supposedly allowing 6,000 troops to come home from Iraq. What is your take? Do you think that the troops are finished doing their job?.......... Or, is it their job? Who will protect us if the troops are back in the US? Mmmm…..But are we safer now with them in Iraq? My reason for asking is because first it’s 6,000 then it’s all of them! I’m scarred as hell! Those Iraqis’ don’t play…Will they retaliate? Is that selfish of me?? How would you feel if someone didn’t like your mother or father and came into your home to kill the head of the household because they didn’t like the way the leader was running his/her home? And after killing the leader take over the home and over turn almost every value and custom the parent had instilled in their children. Take over all assets that attributed to running the home and take it for themselves. That is what President Bush did. He went over there to invade Iraq, kill Saddam Hussein and his family members and nationally televise their dead bodies. And then he took over the lands natural resource… (Drum roll please) Oil!….. Let’s cut to the chase. This is a personal family feud that happened to be between two people who lead their countries. What I would call ‘an old beef’.

President Bush’s heartless deed was to involve countless numbers of troops into his personal feud, which has led up to many people losing their children, husbands wives,mothers,fathers,brothers,sisters,uncles,aunts,friends,cousins, etc. Do you agree? And not to mention what the people of Iraq have gone through and are still going through. Do they even have running water as yet? Are they allowed to lead the regular lives like they used to? In my opinion those troops should have never left to fight President Bush’s personal battle in the first place. President Bush’s term is up and he has started something he can’t finish or can he? Or are we all totally given wrong info where this could all be about something we couldn’t even imagine.
